Creating a new NZRSWT Property in Webrooms


Property

On Creation of Property and Sub

  • Property naming convention is either <Location> if there is a single property in the location or <Location Unit X> if there are multiple properties in the same Location e.g. New Plymouth or Orewa Unit 2. Note that the new property may necessitate a change in name to other properties
  • They Property's Category Name is the Location Name. There is exactly one Category per Location, and exactly one Sub Category (with the same name as the Category) in each Category.
  • [GuestTraction only] Ensure Property Code set consistently with other properties in the same location

System Settings -> Booking Parameters

Ensure the following settings from System Settings -> Booking Parameters:

  • Default Minimum Stay Availability Relaxation: 1
  • Minimum advance warning to allow: 3 days
  • Latest time to allow online bookings on that day: 18:00
  • Minimum advance warning to confirm: 3 days
  • Latest time to confirm bookings on that day: 18:00
  • Maximum Advance Warning: 191 days
  • Adults/Guests/People Label: Person / People

System Settings -> Customise Form

Ensure the following settings from System Settings -> Customise Form:

  • Form Field Options: (All "Excluded")
  • Cards / Account, all "Excluded" except:
    • Payment Card - Guest Booking - Optional
    • Payment Card - Manage Profile - Optional
    • Guest Account Balance - Back-End Booking - Optional
  • Marketing Consents and Privacy: (All "Excluded")
  • Custom Questions
    • Question 1
      • Guest Booking: Mandatory
      • Question: I or my partner will be in attendance for the duration of the stay
      • Answer Type: Choose one from a list of options
      • Possible Answers: I agree
    • Question 2
      • Guest Booking: Mandatory
      • Question: I will not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed in the unit
      • Answer Type: Choose one from a list of options
      • Possible Answers: I agree
    • Question 3
      • Guest Booking: Mandatory
      • Question: The booked location is not in the city I reside in
      • Answer Type: Choose one from a list of options
      • Possible Answers: I agree
    • Question 4
      • Guest Booking: Mandatory
      • Question: I understand that I am responsible for making sure that everybody who stays in the unit uses their own linen, and I will guarantee the unit is left in a reasonable condition when we depart
      • Answer Type: Choose one from a list of options
      • Possible Answers: I agree
  • Auto Emails: Ensure these are consistent with other properties (should be automatic)

Message Templates

  • Ensure these are consistent with other properties, Cleaner email are being sent to the correct email address

Payment Methods

  • Ensure these are consistent with other properties (should be automatic)

Products

  • [GuestTraction only] Ensure Cleaning Product is set up and uses the same ProductCode as the PropertyCode used earlier

Room Type

Creating the Room Type

  • Only one Room Type per Property
  • Room Type name is the street address of the unit <XXX Street Name> e.g. 2/380 Hibiscus Coast Highway.
  • Default Availability for the room type is set to 1
  • [GuestTraction only] Ensure ProductCode set to PropertyCode
